The above video is an animation that was adapted from a talk given by Sir Ken Robinson, world-renowned education and creativity expert and recipient of the RSA’s Benjamin Franklin award.

I found Sir Ken’s reasoning to be brilliant, and the animation was extremely clever and revealing! I would like to invite your personal responses and commentary!

“Imagination is the source of every form of human achievement. And it’s the one thing that I believe we are systematically jeopardizing in the way we educate our children and ourselves.”
— Ken Robinson

  1. I love that you posted this!! Every time I see it it rings so true. . . . But how to make the paradigm shift? I remain hopeful that there are many young and creative minds that have some great answers!

  2. Brilliant! ..Brilliant!! …Brilliant!! This view is what I have felt for many, many years but was never able to express in words. Malaho Nui Loa for sharing and I will shoot this up to my Facebook and share it with all my friends…. and ask them to do the same. By the way the art that your students create are a wonderful reflection of their instructor. You are doing a remarkable job and I will also send my friends to come and view their work.
Best wishes and Aloha! -Leo DuBois
